Trouble Opening file

I have a difficult time opening files. Excel and Word documents

Answer:

When troubleshooting, we did an online repair for the end users office applications. The issue still persisted.

We then went ahead and removed the office application and downloaded a new one to install.

End user checked the files that were giving an issue when opening. End user reported that she was able to open files from file explorer and onedrive as normal.

Im still unable to open files

End user was still working on excel files and email.

End user did not have a mic for a call to go over their issue.

Recommended to end user to let me know when they are paused from any work in order to troubleshoot.

Also recommended That I could give end user a call on their phone. End user did not respond.

To any file, I must open them first through the web then download the file. I have a hard time opening files from folder or through excel/Microsoft.

Im the only one experiencing this issue.
