End users may experience the Outlook app crashing immediately when attempting to open it on an iPhone.
Corrupted app data stored on the device may prevent the Outlook app from launching properly.
Follow the steps below to remove the corrupted data and reinstall the Outlook app:
On the iPhone, navigate to:
Settings > General > iPhone Storage
Scroll down and select Outlook.
Tap Delete App to remove both the app and its associated data.
After deleting the app, perform a full device restart.
Open the App Store.
Search for Microsoft Outlook.
Download and install the app again.
Once reinstalled, the Outlook app should open successfully.
Outlook should now launch without crashing. If issues persist, escalate to IT for further troubleshooting.
