How to Access Company Resources from Home (VPN)

Applies To: Cisco Secure Client VPN

Overview

When working remotely, some company resources require a secure VPN connection before they can be accessed.

Connect to the VPN

1. Open Cisco Secure Client. (search at the bottom of your screens search bar)
2. Enter the company VPN address if prompted.
3. Sign in with your company credentials.
4. Complete any Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) prompts.
5. Verify the status shows Connected.

Access Company Resources

Once connected, you may access approved company resources such as:

• Shared network drives
• Internal company websites
• Business applications
• Remote systems

Contact IT If

• You cannot sign in.
• The VPN does not connect. (show any errors) 
• Company resources are unavailable after connecting.
