International Travel

When traveling out of the country, employees must follow this procedure to ensure access to company resources and cellular coverage.

What to do

Prior to leaving the country, contact IT at helpdesk@calgiant.com or ext.777 (8317867477) and inform them that you will be out of the country.  Provide the info below:

1. Where you will be going?
2. Duration of your trip?
3. Do you need cellular coverage?

Why you need to do this

1. IT security policies are scoped to prohibit access from all countries other than the below
   1. United states
   2. Mexico
   3. Chile
   4. Canada
2. Cell phone international plans are assigned on as needed basis.  If the plan isn't assigned prior to leaving the country it can make it difficult to successfully apply the plan to the mobile device
