Overview
Employees traveling internationally must follow this procedure to ensure uninterrupted access to company resources and proper cellular coverage. Failure to complete these steps may result in blocked access or inability to apply international mobile plans.
What to Do Before Traveling

Notify IT Support
- Email helpdesk@calgiant.com or call ext. 777 (831-786-7477).
- Provide the following details:
- Destination country/countries
- Duration of your trip
- Whether you need cellular coverage

Confirm Access Requirements
- IT will verify if your destination is allowed under company security policies.
- If traveling to a restricted country, remote access may be blocked.

Request International Cellular Plan (If Needed)
- Plans are applied before departure.
- Applying plans after leaving the country can be difficult and may cause service delays.
Why This Is Required

Security Policy Restrictions:
Access is permitted only from these countries:
- United States
- Mexico
- Chile
- Canada

Cellular Coverage:
International plans are assigned on an as-needed basis. Without prior setup, mobile devices may not function properly abroad.
Additional Notes
- VPN access may be limited based on location.
- If you require access from a country outside the approved list, IT must review and approve exceptions.
- Always confirm your mobile carrier supports international roaming in your destination.
